What happened?
On 3rd October,2018, colleges of education should have started their semester but due to certain situations it was postponed to 29th October,2018. As fresh students and continuing trainee teachers prepared to report to their various colleges, CETAG went on an indifinite strike which took a period of one month. During this time, trainees expecially freshers we used to do all manual works on campus. Trainees were then asked to go home and just a week later were asked to report. CETAG called off their strike by the help of NLC. And on 10th December,2018 serious lectures started in almost all the colleges of education in Ghana.
NOTE: Students of the various colleges of education in Ghana should note
that the 1st semester start afresh from 13th January 2019.
