The Controller and Accountant General’s
Department (CAGD) has paid the Salary
arrears due teachers in the Ghana
Education Service.
The Salary arrears paid relates to Teachers
who are victims of the Three Months Salary
Arrears under the John Mahama
Government.
According to information reaching
EducationGhana.net ,beneficiaries are
expected to check their Supplement Pay
slip Files on the Third Party Reference
System (TPRS) to confirm the payments.
Though CAGD is yet to give the exact
number of Teachers that have been paid
the Salary Arrears, the beneficiaries are
expected to verify to know their status.
Last month,government promised to pay
the teachers Salary Arrears of Teachers
who have been validated for payment
within two weeks,according to the Ghana
National Association of Teachers (GNAT).
The Coalition of Concerned Teachers-
Ghana (CCT-GH) had also given
government up to 31st of October to pay all
Arrears due Teachers or they advised
themselves.
